Grüß euch,

ich habe folgende Münze aus gut 30 cm Tiefe aus dem Erdreich geborgen.
Es handelt sich wohl um eine Fälschung, die Frage ist ob es eine Zeitgenössische sein könnte.
Der Kern der Münze besteht aus Silber, die Vergoldung blättert teilweise an den Rändern dick ab.
Die Münze stellt wohl einen Mailänder Florin Barnabò & Galeazzo II Visconti dar.
Die Münze zeigt auf beiden Seiten das gleiche Bild.

Eine zeitgen. Fälschung würde wohl nicht zwei gleiche Seiten aufweisen.

Außerdem waren die beiden Brüder für ihre extrem grausamen Bestrafungen bekannt:

"Galeazzo II is famously known for instituting the Quaresima Torture Protocol. Rather than one method of torture, this marathon of depravity lasted for forty days with the express intention of resulting in the death of the individual, who, by undergoing this regimen, had already been branded a traitor by the state, marked for execution.[37] The Quaresima protocol involves several torture mechanisms employed on the victim for an entire day. Ich verstehe was du meinst.

Man findet diesen Florin allerdings tatsächlich mit beidseitig identischer Darstellung im Netz auf Seiten einschlägiger Auktionshäuser.

Auch die Umschrift unterscheidet sich hinsichtl. der Vornamen.
