Hello again,

your Venetian coin can’t be allocated to a doge. It’s a Gazzetto, maybe II Gazzetti. The value in Latin letters is usually found in the exergue below the personification of justice - Justitia. On your coin it is off the flan. The legend is to be read IVSTITIAN X DILIGITE (just and conscientious). The legend on the lion’s side SANCTUS MARCUS VENETUS + need not be translated, I presume. :D This anonymous Gazetto series has been struck from about 1472 to 1605 in various numerals / values. The type is not rare but scarce.
