This restrike was part of a collection of 20 restrikes of coins (one coin for each century).
The collection was given one by one to physician for free to promote a new medicine (ferro sanol duodenal)
The material is not silver, but patinated to have the appearance of an old silver coin.
The restrikes were done by Dr. Ising (

Hope to have been of help

Thanks zwerg.
I have seen more restrike 1988 coins, all are terrible of quality (mideval and roman coins) they will be from the same collections than.
The "built" quality for this coin is really good. If the stamp 1988 wasn;t there it could fool me for a while.
