Hallo,

Hallo Pawel,

I am not an expert for this topic but I think these medals were produced after 1989.

For every theme, as we can see on the medals an original coin with the value of 5 Mark was issued in the GDR between 1979 (EInstein) and 1987 (Berlin Nikolaiviertel). So the producer of your medals maybe had the idea to produce a "similar" issue/edition to the original coins. Circa 50 different coins with 5 Mark value were issued between 1968 and 1990.

I've never seen those medals before, but I think they came out of one of those countless medal editions regarding to the GDR from the 1990ies.

Maybe some expert here can help you a bit more, especially information about the mint factory / producer or material.

regards
rista
