Hi

I've found à piece of money in my garden (in france near luxembourg/german border)

on the first side; it's written :

Treue
Dienste
Bet der fahne

with a crown in the center on the side

on the other side, there is a Roman Number : IX or XI

there is no date written on it.

any ideas ?

The inscription is "Treue Dienste bei der Fahne" and IX.
It´s an german military decoration of the WW I.
Normally award for nine years in the Army.
For further information a picture of the side with the crown is needed.

es handelt sich um eine tragbare Verdienstmedaille (Deutsches Reich) aus Kupfer-Nickel ohne Jahr (1913-1918) für treue Dienste bei der Fahne (9 Jahre), Durchmesser 30 mm. Wert in Abhängigkeit von der Erhaltung 5 - 15 Euro. Als Fundstück wird die Erhaltung wohl nicht mehr überragend sein.
