Hope for a coin!

The sixpence in her shoe was Victorian, from 1888.

Congratulations with the happy couple !
Perhaps you could hope for a nice set of Bahama- coins , containing not less than 3 Crown- sized coins ?

Nice set! If only....

But beautiful young people need bright scarves, bracelets, sunglasses and souvenir coffee mugs for the old folks back home. So I'm hoping for maybe an unnoticed 10- or 25-cent piece from pocket change.

Hey, when I was reading up on the wedding sixpence in the shoe etc., I noticed a mention of a similar custom in Sweden. A particular coin used by the Swedes was not mentioned, so I was left to wonder--is there a particular coin Swedes use as a wedding talisman?

And thanks for the congratulations on the wedding--my mind is still crowded with pretty pictures.
