Hallo,
diese Münze wurde laut Aufzeichnungen meines Opas 1912 im Kaukasus gefunden. Vielleicht hilft das ja bei der Bestimmung.
Habe eben vergessen zu erwähnen, daß ich für jeden Tipp dankbar bin !

This is a copper coin from Libya. The obverse says quite clearly "Sultan Ahmed". The mint name is stated in the triangle on the reverse: "Tarabulus" (= Tripoli, Libya). Above, you'll see the numerals "11", which is the fist two digits of the date. The reverse resembles KM# 53 of Abdul Hamid I, but your coin was minted by another (earlier) ruler by the name Ahmed.

thanks again. I have the Krause/Mishler 1800- 1993 and their is no number 53. But what you mentioned is enough for me. So "11" means the coin is from 17something ?

Yes, to be exact, AH1100-1199 is the equivalent of 1688-1785.
