kann mir jemand bei er Bestimmung dieser Münze helfen? Bei den vielen Fälschungen und Nachprägungen chinesischer Cash komme ich hier nicht weiter. Vermutlich Messing, Durchmesser ca. 24,5 mm, ca. 2,86 g.

If genuine, this looks to be a 1-cash coin from Kwangtung Province struck 1890-1908 (Krause reports a diameter of 24.5mm and a weight of 2.70g.) Something of an oddity for a cash coin, in that it's struck rather than cast.

It's very common, of course, but when I looked it up in the new SCWC 1901-2000, I was amazed to see they had actually assigned a mintage to the piece: 1,059,253,000.
