Hallo!
Erbitte noch einmal Hilfe bei der Bestimmung dieses Keramiktokens!
Hatte ich vor Jahren schon mal in einem anderen Thread angehangen und veruche es jetzt hier noch mal getrennt.

方 Fang (heißt "quadratisch", hat also evtl. etwas mit Würfeln zu tun)

Das kommt davon wenn man wörtlich übersetzt
Zum Zusammenhang zwischen fang und fuang, kann man bei "Playthings in Porcelain" nachlesen:
In Chinese the character 方 fang has many different meanings, depending on context. It can
mean: square, place, plan, method, at that time, comparison, to neglect, to tally with, to center.
However, in Chinese fang has never signified a coin or a coin’s value. The use of this character
on the porcelain coins therefore seems only to be explicable by its similarity in sound to the
Siamese money value fuang.
