Liebe Gemeinde,
kann mir jemand bei diesem Stück weiterhelfen?
Ag, 2,38 g, 15 mm.
Danke!

Nachtrag: Passt wahrscheinlich aber besser zum Mittelalter, leider habe ich es jetzt hier eingestellt.

Dear Task_Force.
It seems that noone really knows what this is. But you'll find it in Mitchiner's "The World of Islam". It's M# 2432. This is what Mitchiner has to say about it: "Uncertain mint. A series of small Byzantine inspired lead coins [...] This small hoard of lead coins (except no. 2433) was brought to London by a Turkish dealer in 1975 along with sundry Byzantine and Islamic copper coins from the Turkey-Syria region. Scattered additional coins of this lead series have been seen since then in London. The late Dr. G. C. Miles has also discussed the series.".

Die Stücke aus dem Mitchiner sollen aber aus Blei sein, was sie auch tatsächlich sind. Task Force sprach aber von Silber ... ???
