Eine knappe Drachme halte ich nicht für möglich, denn dazu ist 10 mm zu wenig, zumal der Kopf fast vollständig auf der Münze drauf ist - dann müsste der Stempel auch nur 10-11 mm im Durchmesser betragen, was für eine Drachme viel zu klein ist. Es würde mich aber generell erstaunen, wenn dieser Kopf auf einer 10 mm Münze drauf wäre!

are you sure your coin is 10 mm in diameter? To me, it rather looks like a drachm or a tetradrachm, which usually measure approximately 17-22 mm / 27-31 mm. What is the weight of your coin?

The coin's exact diameter is 11 mm. It weighs 0,82 g.

the look links to Lysimachos,
but the size and weight are too less for a drachm.
Maybe its a smaller denomination

I agree, certainly Lysimachos. I don't know of any silver denomination smaller than a drachm used by Lysimachos, though. Would you mind posting sharper pictures of the coin put aside of a yardstick?

Nee, das sind schon Zentimeter; schau mal, die größeren Einheiten sind in 10 kleine geteilt, ein Zoll wäre in 16 geteilt. Sehr interessant, wie eine Fälschung sieht's eigentlich auch nicht aus, was meint ihr?
