Hello!

I am hoping to get some help with this Bavarian piece! It is a nice copper/bronze coin, about 25 mm.

The obverse has Bavarian-style quartered arms over a cross; legend reads: (from 1 o'clock) .ERNE BA+DVX EPS LEOD
Reverse has what appears to be a tower with a cross atop; with XII and SV[.] on each side. Outer legend reads
AVDIATVR + ALT... (last letter in inscription is possiobly an S).

ANy help is appreciated... I have searched my library to no avail!

Ernst von Bayern (duke,1554-1612) , bishop of Leodiensis (Lüttich, Liège). He was also bishop of Hildesheim and of Freising.

Liege, 12 Sols (1/2 Liard), ND (1581-1612), mint Liege; KM A6
