Hi pinpoint,

I think this is a denar from Sicily.
There are several similar denars from Sicily with an eagle on one side and the arms of Aragon on the other side.
Unfortunately I don't have any literature about Sicilian coins but maybe this information can help to id the coin more easily.

It looks like a : Denaro , Giovanni II d ' Aragona ( 1458-1479)
