Hi,

By it's legend this piece can be a token/coin ? from somewhere of Netherland but I'm not sure. It weights 2.1 and it's diammeter is aprox.
22 mm.
I can read the following legends:

In Eagle's side: + DERV[ER]LORNSCHVLD RAITIVET + (Aprox.)
Shield Side: DER HAT SELTN G VETEN.M VET +

Can anyone help me ?

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome,

I think it is a German "Rechenpfennig" / Token from the end of the 17th to the begin of the 18th century. The legend should be read like this:

In Eagle's side: + DER V[ER]LORN SCHVLD RAI TVET + (Aprox.)
Shield Side: DER HAT SELTN GVETEN MVET +

"He who grieves about lost depts / will seldom be good humored"

How true ... :D

Hallo Klaupo, "raiten" = rechnen, engl. to reckon. Also: He who reckons (calculates) lost debts / will seldom be good humoured. Es ist ja ein Rechenpfennig, und die Umschrift bezieht sich auf diese Tätigkeit.
