Spiel Münze

Hello !
I am a French young numismatist. I collect world coins, francs and euros. Sorry, I don't speak German
, that's why I express myself in English. I can do it in French if you prefer.
(Maybe one day I will learn German because it's very useful to communicate with you !).
So, a few months ago, I bought a very small German coin of "5 mark", bearing the image of Wilheim the first. I thought it was an authentic coin because there was a face value (5 mark). But after, reading the reverse legend (spiel münze), I realized I was in possession of a game token.

A/ = avers (French) = observe (English)
R/ = revers (French) = reverse (English)
I would like get information about this token. Is it a token for casino, a board game, play (a toy ? Now, coins for kids are in plastic) ? Its date ?
In a numismatic shop, I have seen a similar token but instead of Wilheim I head there was German Eagle et there was an other face value. The metal was grey.
Thaks a lot for your answers.

PS : I'm pleased to discuss with numismatists of across the Rhein.
