Greetings,
I note that R. C. Bell makes some remarks about this token and the arms in "Commercial Coins, 1787 - 1804." The arms are apparently not entirely correctly reproduced.
There is also apparently a difference with the word GROCER in British and American English. Americans do not use the term GREENGROCER. I believe the term is quite common in Great Britain. But I don't wish to make things too complicated.
