sorry, my english is bad, this is denominated "jeton" in francais or in italian, "gettone ricordo".. the translation in english I think "token".. or not???

a token is a piece, which was valid as a kind of a coin for a special matter in a defineted area (province, town, company).

The item you presented, was not produced for the purpose of payment anywhere. Thus, it is has to be considered as a medal.

Perhaps one of our moderators/administrators will shift this thread to the medallion forum (or the Euro forum), whereever it fits.
