I found this token in a group of about 25 pieces of 1917-20 notgeld, almost all of it from Bayern. Can anyone identify the piece? Any help is much appreciated.

Vielen Dank, KAM. For starters, I will re-orient the token in its holder. Have read much of interest since you steered me in the right direction. And of course, if anyone can say what the purpose of the piece was, or when it was issued--and whether the 10 refers to 10-pfennig--I would certainly be happy to know.

I guess its a 10 Pfennig used in the factory canteen between about 1917 to 1922.

Perhaps building fighter planes like the Siemens-Schuckert D.IV, from what I've read. An aircraft of which I was previously completely unaware, but shouldn't have been. The wonderful world of token collecting...thanks.
