unbekannte einseitiger Kupfermünze

Hallo,
wer kann mir etwas über diese Kupfermünze sagen (6 mm, von einem britischen Händler)?
unbekanntes Münze für mich.......

@Brian,
hard to say.
Could be an early anglo-saxon coin (7th to 8th century) or Frisian Sceatta (8th cent.). The diameter fits - but all I know there was minting in silver only.
The only coin similar to your's I found ist an AETHELREAD "Porcupine" (what about the reverse ????? - please show). But if it is one of those extremely rare specimens I think it would be a fake - for sure.

I don't know these coins very much, but...uuum....having a fake coin is very sad!
Sorry, I haven't seen the reverse side yet....
As soon as possible, I will post it here.
