Re: Unknown coin
Hallo Ganza,
I think, it is Bavaria, Regensburger Pfennig, 10./11. Cent.

Re: Unknown coin
Hi Ganza,
I can't find an exact match in Hahn's 'Moneta Radasponensis'.
The coin looks like a denar from Regensburg but those denars were imitated by other mints, for example Augsburg and Salzburg and even mints in Bohemia struck similar coins.
I think that I've already seen a coin with these three letters that look like 'AND' within the church. But unfortunately I don't know where. Maybe it even was in this forum. If I remember right, that coin couldn't be determined properly, too.
Greetings,
Peter

Re: Unknown coin
Hi Ganza,
I knew, I've seen this coin before:
http://www.numismatikforum.de/viewtopic ... 98&start=0
The photos there show exactly the same coin. So either it is your coin and you or a former owner have already asked about it or, if it is not your coin in the other thread, it has to be a forgery because there cannot be two medieval coins that look exactly the same.
From the photos it doesn't look like a modern forgery.
So I think that it is your coin in the other thread, isn't it?
Greetings,
Peter

Re: Unknown coin
Hi Peter,
It's not a my coin. It was sold some days ago on spanish eBay (not for me). This coin was looked a very strange way for my mind. Therefor I asked that question.
Best regards,
Oleg.
