Hello,
Could you help with this coin from Volkmarsen? Who is the abbey? I can see only letters (?)E(?)ANUS AB.

Volkmarsen? I don't think so. Think it might be Munster. Perhaps Havernick 570 - fits ball-cross and parts of the inscription.
Let me persuade with pleasure from the opposite.

Hello ischbierra,
Yes, I know it is Corvey. I can't read the name of an abbot! This is a time which was near to abbot Herman I (1223-1254) but most likely there is an another name.
Best regards,

Hello ischbierra,
Thank you very much! I think you are right. The inscription could be read as ThEMANVS AB. Do you have a pictures or descriptions of coins like that?
Best regards, Ganza

Hello Ischbierra,
Oops...This coin is very similar to mine, but the name is written by the other way. Or it is other variant of a writing of the same name. Or the new unknown abbot

. I am still puzzled. Once again many thanks for your help!
