Dear Vlcoin,

also this coin is a very interesting denar from the 13. century. The make of the coin is pointing
to East - Westphalia.

Avers:

A crowned king sitting, holding in the right a sword and in the left a staff topped with a lily.

Avers: On the right of the king:

TU
D

Revers:
Under an architectural construction a lion with an ornamented tail walking to the right.

+ TVLAR (/////)

It is possible, that this coin is minted under BERTHOLD the Younger, Noble of Büren, ~1263. The name on the
right of the king is pointing to that.

Coins of the regal mint of Dortmund were copied in Büren.

The mintname on the revers is very strange to me.

A lion is showing on the arms of the nobles of Büren.

Anyhow - a very interesting coin - possibly something for a professional to identify exactly.
