1949 J 10 pfennig - Copper Clad?

Greetings from the US. My first post here although I have followed various threads for a while. In going through my collection I ran across this very coppery looking 10 pfennig piece. Took some pics next to a regular brass looking piece (on right). Both are magnetic so both have the steel core. Wanted to check if any of you have run across this before. Cheers.

The color of strongly used (and maybe cleaned) coins tends to differ. Some look brighter, some more copper-like. Best regards, KarlAntonMartini
