Diese As kann ich nicht bestimmen, in Anver kan man lesen Sex und in die Rückseite VLI ich glaubte die war ein as von Sex Iulius, aber man kennt keine von diese Münsmeister ( Crawford 258). auf die Wage sind 33,13 Gram

Tolles Stück, ist wohl das vierte bekannte Stück dieser Art.

Ist in den großen Werken nicht aufgeführt (Crawford, Sydenham, Grueber),
wurde aber 1997 bei der Versteigerung der Goodman-Collection (CNG Triton I, Nr.915) angeboten.
Hier wird auf ein Stück in der Auktion NAC Sale 7 Nr.532 verwiesen.

Ich tippe mal den Kommentar aus dem CNG Katalog ab.

Crawford claimed that the published piece by Lederer in SNR 1942, was a
piece that had been altered in modern times, and therefore Sextus Julius
Caesar probably did not issue any AE coinage.
With the publication of this specimen and the NAC specimen, the authenticity
of the variety is confirmed.
This is not the same Sex. Julius Caesar that issued denarii in 129 BC.
The style of this coin is very similar to the Cn.Co Asses (Cr 81/1), and
so probably dates to around the same time.
