Don’t spend this peseta on anything to eat or drink—you’ll want to be properly prepped for surgery in case of…well, accident. Better for sure to visit a newsstand and buy a newspaper to roll up and take on your run. (They’re supposed to be useful in distracting the bulls.)
In 1950 a copy of Diario de Navarra cost 50-centimos, so maybe take this peseta and get two copies of the paper, one for you and one for a buddy. Or better yet, forget the buddy and keep both newspapers for yourself, one for each hand.
Best of all—maybe—open a copy of Diario de Navarra to the movie listings, and just find something better to do with your day.
