Hello everyone,
The coin in question was found by a metal detectorist in the Burgundy region, central-eastern France, and has been offered to me for identification.
I can't figure it out, but I do see a strong resemblance to a denier from Anno II (Häv 378/678).
The diameter is only 15.0 mm and the mass is 0.83 grams. Presumably, it is a Hälbling, but I wouldn't know whether it is a reproduction or an imitation.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you very much for your time and effort in solving this riddle!!!
Best regards rimidi

Re: Bestimmungshilfe hälbling Köln, Anno II ???
Hi Hessen62,
Yes, I made a mistake interpreting the info on "https://muenzfreunde-hilden.de/muenzen-koeln1" under Sigwin von Are (2nd and 4th coin).
Sorry about that.
Best regards rimidi
