Hi leutz,

dieses Stück habe ich mal als Kuschano-Sassanide ersteigert, allerdings finde ich nichts dergleichen. Ich weiß nicht mal, was rückseitig abgebildet ein soll. Wurde als Altar beschrieben.

Maße: ca. 13-14mm; 2,43g

Vielleicht hat ja einer von euch eine Idee oder sogar Literatur, wo dieses Stück abgebildet ist. Wäre nett.

Ich habe das Stück in einer Münzgruppe gezeigt, in der es hauptsächlich um pakistanische Münzen geht. Mir wurde diese Bestimmung gegeben:

"Unofficial copies, phase 3 units
Hormizd I, Begram copper mint, third phase, unofficial copies(imit) units (1u), c. 3.8g, lion head crown bust ΚΑΒΑΔ (Kavad)/ divine bust on fire altar type.
Obverse: Crude version of king, bust facing left, hair dressed in bun(drawn as four rows of curls) at back, bearded (beard tied below with jewels), wearing lion head crown surmounted by artichoke (normally off flan, occasionally missing), diadem with two rising ribbons behind, earring with single jewel, necklace (drawn as line) and tunic with buttons on chest. Bactrian inscription, blundered version of ΚΑΒΑΔ. All surrounded by dotted border.
Reverse: Crude version of Oesho, mountain god, bust facing, head to front, emerging from top of fire-altar/throne, hair in form of flames above and dressed as buns either sides of his face, bearded, wearing diadem, with ribbons, hanging beside his hair buns, and necklace. Fire altar/throne merged together, throne to front with oblong seat, resting on out-turned lion legs, with ribbons tied to tops and falling down, fire altar behind throne, with throne seat as slab on top of broad column standing on single step. All surrounded by dotted border."

In Stil und Form erinnert es sehr an Bronzegegenstände der Kushan-Sassanidenzeit, die oft so grobe Darstellungen und ungleichmäßige Ränder aufweisen.
