The following addition to what Afrasi wrote is intended to avoid possible confusion, because Chinese coins never show the actual names of the emperors but only their "nian hao", i. e. the titles under which they reigned. This had taboo reasons.
The av.-legends of the two coins are
1. Av.: 嘉庆通宝 „jia qing tong bao“ = „Legal tender of the period Jia-qing“; „Jia-qing“ was the regnal title of emperor Ren Zong Rui (modern transcription).
2. Av.: 道光通宝 „dao guang tong bao“ = „Legal tender of the period Dao-guang“; „Dao-guang“ was the regnal title of emperor Xuan Zong Cheng (modern transcription).
