Hi:
I*m a portuguese collector and unfortunately I don*t speak german. Sorry :(.
I would like to know if it*s possible to analyse the coin in attach, that I consider it*s from Henri II, king of yours at 1002-1024. It*s a denier, I think, but with some particular characteristics: the weight is 4,9 g, and the diameter is 20 mm, cupper-metal. An original coin? I think it*s possibly an imitation, but what kind of imitation, and of wich century? How and where can I do to see images of this king? Help me, please. Thanks very much. :)

Hi José and welcome to the forum! Though I cannot offer any information about your coin, here is a link where you can view what a genuine Heinrich II denier looks like (sides of the coin switch from time to time, but be patient):

I'm sure the rest of your questions will be answered in due course! :D

Best regards

klaupo

Hi, klaupo, and thanks for the answer... :)
But I knew already this link, and the Henri's coin we can see. Despite is similar, this is NOT the same coin, the legend is different, weight, diameter, etc, all is different. May be it*s not a coin, but a medal, or something like that.. I don*t know and I would like to know... :D

hallo José Silva,
I'm shure, the coin comes from R E G E N S B U R G - I can't read the Name of the "Münz-Meister" - may be O Z I !
please look ; Dannenberg Nr. 1075 or H a h n 29 b 5.
Last year the coin was in auction of LANZ / München with 330,- €.
I hope this can help you - nice greetings from heripo

The original coin would be a Regensburg coin, Hahn 29, moneyer ECCHO (the last part of the reverse inscription). But that was not the question. The question, as I understand it, was: Who produced this fake at which time? And there, I am sorry, I do not know the answer. Anybody could have made such a fake at any time.
Gruß mumde
