Re: Emden Stadt , 6 Stüber ?
I think I have an idea - give me just some time - I need to find an old catalogue and to do my normal work
Letters are:
a) LEOPOLD: DG : ROMAN : IMP : SEM : AV
b) DA PACEM : DOMINE
right?

Re: Emden Stadt , 6 Stüber ?
I have to say sorry, I couldn't really find what I was looking for - but the problem is, that there are a lot of varieties out for Emden in that time - and I have no access to the needed literature and could't find the old catalogue. That you are totally correct with Emden is visible in this design which is exactly the same:
1/3 Taler Emden
although the weight is not correct for 1/3 Thaler, which would mean round about 9 gr - 6 Stüber instead would fit perfect. For this you mentioned Knyphausen 6298 which is out there also in a strong variety - which you can see
here
here
and here (K-6292, 9652)
so you see that we are all together quite close - and I guess that we can assume, that it is really a "6 Stüber Emden" w/o year - but minted in the years between 1680 and 1700.
Although most museums don't like it - you could ask at the Landesmuseum Emden which contains the biggest coin collection of this region for a better determination.
greetings

Re: Emden Stadt , 6 Stüber ?
Hello Ruford ,
Thanks for your exellent and specifided explanation!
We had the same problem to find the right match of this coin ,
there are so mutch variations and ref.nrs.
With your explanation about the weights of the different denominations we can assume that this is a Schilling ( 6 Stüber)
Kind regards from The Netherlands , Pinpoint
