Hey pinpoint,
you know, that I like to help you (you're a always good for a good riddle
) but could please scan the coin? It's really hard to see datails or to read the circumscription. Maybe somebody owns the coin and you are lucky that this person is willing to answer, but in any other case it would be good to get a better image of the coin.

Re: Unknown coin , German ??
But I think I found something good for you. You were already very close - but av. is not an eagle it's the so called "Märkischer Schild - dreiteiliger Lilienhaspel".
But take a look here
You can see there coins which look quite similar - but although they have nearly the same diameter, most of them have a totally different weight (around 0,8g) - but there is also a Vierlinge from this time ...
But I would say, it belongs quite sure to Mark, Grafschaft
greetings

Re: Unknown coin , German ??
Hoi Ruford ,
Thanks for your exellent help so far.
This is exact the problem of this coins : We see definitely not the "dreiteilige Lilienhaspel" on the a.v.
You can see perfectly the eagles tail and 2 legs and claws.
We already found the matches of Mark but it is not the right one.
Our search will going on !
Kind regards , Pinpoint

Re: Unknown coin , German ??
It´s a worn piece and you might to see an eagle, but it is the normal shield. What you identify as "tail with 2 legs and claws" are the dot in the middle and the ends of three "Lilienhaspels". Sorry, my english isn´t the best.
Kind regards Chippi

Re: Unknown coin , German ??
Hoi Chippi ,
I'm convinced , it is the Lilienhaspel we see.
Maybe it is time voor glasses for me
The match we found is : 1/4 Weispfennig / Pfennig , Johann I ( 1448-1481) , Kleve
Maybe someone can confirm this ?
Info about : Denomination , Ruler , State and place of minting is welcome .
( Sorry my English is even so bat )
