5 Mark 1 August 1917

Beitrag von maniana » Sa 23.03.13 17:14

Hallo Sammler.

Maniana

Try it with english, your translation program ist absolutely cruel.
To repeat it once more, your banknote is very common and NO rarity.
Best regards

... If this black offset error is "popular" then why is this error not in the catalogs :?:
Should be cataloged ! Truth :?:
If it is cataloged then in which directory.
Please show it.

Respect.
Without a shadow of a doubt "populares" but ...? .. ..
In my collection from "childhood", that is approximately around 1953 - 19157.
The banknote, with many others of other denominations as well, obtained from a waste paper repository located a short distance from the bank, about 100 m. I lived nearby.
The attachment reveals in detail.
1- bank
2- waste paper depot
3- I lived here. (Lower Silesia)
I found a defect in the form of a shift in the black print
or only after many years during selection according to the state of preservation, already (?);) as an adult
in the years 1980-1985 when discussions began in the collectors' milieu about the level
owned collections. Not the quantity but the quality, the condition of the banknotes in the collection.
The condition of the print in black on the reverse - no shift.
Slight changes indicate that it is in good condition and that it has been in use.
...... I would like to add that the photo shows the location of the bank from before the war, of course.
Knowing that the printed banknote sheets contained 4 fields
50 pcs. this :
when the machine "feeding" consecutive sheets for printing "gulped"
instead of one sheet, two, one of which on the underside has deviated (
(it lay diagonally and slightly shifted) the machine "recorded" this fact.
In total, it can be concluded that as a result, 200 items were circulated.
And ...? not one more.
I hope and believe that this one has been preserved.
The condition of the print in black on the reverse - no shift.
The reverse is in beautiful condition.
Yours sincerely

Hallo maniana,

Druckabweichung investieren. Reich kann man also damit nicht werden. ;)

I have no intention or desire to argue with the opinion about the existence of color variations, because there is well-known and documented evidence for that.

Malfunction No black print elminates paper from the banknote category, it is waste paper. Without the ability to function
in normal circulation. The one from the photo was in circulation as far as Lower Silesia.
40 years ago (1980) I had a catalog of German banknotes in my hand, in which I saw varieties of destructs along with their price. My 5 mark was not in it.
German meticulousness, pedantry could not be such a fact
overlook and note, of course, if it really existed.
I hope that I will see this variety (5 brands) in the catalog,
which I have noticed have been printed quite a lot.
Do I want to get rich ? Do you have a problem with that ?
I definitely want to know what the reality is.
Yours sincerely

Hallo maniana,
