Prussia 1/3 Thaler but different

I have a coin that looks like a 1774 1/3 Thaler, Prussia, Frederick II. (The coin is 19mm and 6.7g) But there are differences.

On the side with the head, the letters "BORUSSORUM" read as "BORUSSO" + "ORUM" and the two sections are not in the same arc around the rim.

On the other side the "3", the rosettes, and the first line "EINEN" are at an angle compared to the "REICHS", "THALER" and "1774"

My questions are:

Is a "double strike" coin? To me, it doesn't look the whole coin is double, just some parts.

Is this kind of difference found on many coins and does it tell us anything interesting about the history of the coin?

This coin come from my grandfather's collection. He was collecting in Berlin around 1900.

Hello Michael,

your coin is a fake it is a forgery made for circulation around 1774 or some years later. In this period there were many 1/3 and 1 Taler fakes in use...
It is a nice document for this problem.

I'd be happy to make a thread about my collection if people are interested. Most of the coins are not rare and quite worn. A few are more exciting. There are also a few that I have not identified, so maybe I'll wait until that is complete. Perhaps most interesting to me is what he chose to collect, coins from Prussia, Brandenburg, Saxony, but also Pomerania and Poland, where he was born. I wonder if some of the coins came from a jar on his uncles shelf in the former Arnswalde, or if he bought all the coins from dealers. And I wonder if he knew the identification of all the coins, and if so, how did that information get lost.

My grandfather died in 1939 of an illness. My father came to America in 1949.

ich glaube, dass diese 1/3 Taler zu den am meisten gefälschten Münzen gehören. Ich habe einen Echten aus Breslau (B), der hat knapp 30mm
Durchmesser und wiegt 8,15g.
Meine zwei Fälschungen wiegen 6,90g und 8,86g und sind beide zwischen 29-30mm.
Die Darstellungen auf den Fälschungen sind oft recht einfach und dadurch auch manchmal lustig.
Auch Rechtschreibfehler sind den Fälschern manchmal unterlaufen.
Brandenburg und Preußen gehören zu meinen Sammelgebieten.
